I began my career in finance but pivoted to people strategy in 2008, driven by a deep curiosity about how organizations thrive—not just financially, but through culture, talent, and empowerment. As Managing Director at CVC Capital Partners, I shaped the firm’s global talent strategy, fostering an inclusive culture and strengthening leadership. One of my proudest achievements was launching ERGs and clarifying stakeholder responsibility—ensuring those driving success felt valued and supported. Previously, as Global Head of Human Resources for CVC Credit Partners, I built the HR platform from the ground up, leading efforts in talent acquisition, workforce design, compensation, and engagement. Partnering with the executive committee, I aligned people strategy with business growth. My career has taken me across 32 countries in finance and technology. I’ve seen firsthand how businesses evolve and how leadership shapes the future. As a strategic advisor to boards and senior executives, I help organizations with succession planning, executive development, and organizational design—believing strong leadership is the foundation of success. Thought Leadership & Recognition: I’ve shared insights at Super Return 2023, PEI Insight, and CVC LP Conferences and was named on the Powerlist in 2023 and 2024 as one of the 100 most influential people of Black descent in the UK. Engaging in panels at HR Transform, Viva Technology, and MQ+NY Times Diversity & Inclusion Panel fuels my passion for shaping the future of work. Giving Back: Beyond my professional work, I’m committed to mentorship and community engagement. I serve as a trustee board member for City Year UK and contribute to the UK Year of Service Business Advisory Council. As a talent advisor for Ripple Works, I support NGOs in strengthening HR and talent strategies. Mentorship is personal to me. Having navigated my own path, I am passionate about guiding underrepresented university students through programs like the Bridge Builder Program. Whether through employability workshops or career coaching, I believe in lifting others as I climb. Life Outside of Work: London is home, where I live with my husband, Jonathan, and our two children. My roots and connections stretch across the Atlantic, with strong ties to New York City and the Dominican Republic. When not discussing leadership and strategy, I enjoy moments of laughter with my family—or switching seamlessly between English and Spanish in our multilingual household. At my core, I believe people are an organization’s greatest asset. My mission is to create workplaces where talent thrives, leadership grows, and cultures transform for the better. That’s the story I continue to write every day.
